You've asked....So here it is!
The Version 2 can now fit a bigger range of fuel pumps, including the Walbro 450/460/525. The connector is a DTP (25A per pin) to align with the rest of the FPG range.
Due to the popularity of the R32GT-R in-tank surge tank, we've decided to offer a similar option for the steel tank vehicles. This kit will fit:
S13 (All models)
180SX (All models)
R32 (All models except GT-R)
Due to the tank opening size, we have to stagger the bigger fuel pumps, but we have also increased the tank capacity to accommodate this change. The surge tank holds almost 2L.
The installation is simple, and fast, and no modifications to the tank are required. The kit comes with the pump strainers, fuel hoses and clamps, connectors and crimps, lift pump wiring, and mounting hardware. A new level sender and mount is also included.
Additional parts and tooling required are:
-AN6 fuel lines or 90 degree AN6 to 5/16" barb adapters to suit factory lines
-Deutsch DTP crimp tool (to suit size 12 barrel crimps)
-Fuel Pumps (most 39mm body pumps with 3/8"outlets will fit, such as: Ti F90000274, F90000285, Raceworks 340 EFP-500)
-Lift Pump Pierburg 250 LPH 7.21088.62.0 (Available here, FPG-102)
-Fuel tank o-ring (Available here FPG-093)
-Upgraded wiring on the car side to handle additional current draw and multi pump triggering. The factory pump wiring is enough for the lift pump (Available here FPG-109B)
